NETWORK OF PARTNER PRODUCERS

The first step in the production of Akaushi genetics cattle is the formation of a network of partner producers, which is an important Group asset because it will provide the herd with the desired scale of production in order to guarantee the demand of animals from JR Indústria Frigorífica.

Origine Group believes that negotiating strategic alliances with producers strengthens the formation of mutual cooperation aimed at achieving common goals, which translates into greater profitability.

In this partnership, skills and risks are shared and, above all, there is an increase in productivity and consequently in profitability. That is, the financial advantages of producing Akaushi are shared by all the stakeholders in the chain, and this is a principle adopted by the Group.

Origine’s partners are guaranteed the purchase of the Akaushi cattle and paid an Origine premium, above the value of the arroba on the day. In addition, they have support in the integrated planning of the property, in the management of the livestock activity, in training and in the process of adaptation to the good practices and sustainability, in order to become prepared for the processes of certification and, consequently, of valorization of the production.

Potential producers are pre-selected, based on the criterion of environmental compliance and the suitability of the property for the activity. Properties are chosen whose characteristics will later enable the process of certification and traceability.

The formalization of the partnerships takes place through a contract, whose object is the production of the Akaushi cattle, guaranteed to Origine exclusivity for the purchase of the production. The partners also adopt the production methodologies and technologies made available by Origine in their regulations and guidance manuals (eg the Origine Good Practice Manual). In contracts the functions of each of the partners are established and agreed upon.

Once the partnership is formalized, the cattle rancher will have the technical support provided by Origine accredited and / or the Central Management professionals – a regional technical office of the Origine Group, established in the municipality of Estreito, in the south of Maranhão – throughout The productive process.

Origine, currently in the implementation of its strategy of expansion of the network of partners, already has a large number of cattle ranchers, as well as the capacity to develop production sufficient to serve JR Indústria Frigorífica when it starts to operate, in order to make available the raw material required for its operation.

The geographical distribution of the properties that have already formalized partnership with Origine for the production of Akaushi genetics cattle initially covers areas of the Legal Amazon and MATOPIBA.
